Jaxson walking

13 month update

i just realized i hadn't done a 13 month update for jaxson..so here ya go

sleeping 6 to 8 hrs at night and two naps, sometimes one in the morning

eating: he eats about anything i put on his tray or on a spoon, he loves flavored oatmeal, spaghettios, ravillois, beefaroni, mac and cheese, peaches, pears, cantalope, graham crackers, goldfish ect.

developments: walking short distances, he just started to do that on sunday, before that he would take a couple of steps and fall down on his bottom and start crawling, he is still pulling himself up on things and walking around. he loves anything with bottons(especially the tv) loves playing with his toys, going outside, can't wait for it to get warm to take him swimming in the pool at the apartment complex. he says momma, dada, and his favorite uh oh, he claps and when he does he sometimes says ya( for yay), he will wave bye bye every once in awhile. that's if for now.

Easter

so this week my detalier (the person is provides orders for navy) called me and told me that the ship i was suppose to go to is being reassigned to japan, so i would have to choose a different ship, well i had decided on a ship that was going to go on deployment in december, but i was talking to my detalier and told him that i was not planning on reenlisting next year, and he told me that because i decided to not reenlist i would check into tpu on the the 18th, and would be processes out of the navy..so bascially i will be getting out next month..(yes mom i know you reading this you will be worried) but i have school lined up for when i get out, i will be going to kaplan college to become a dental assistant, if need be i can babysit during the day while i am home with jaxson and go to school at night so dustin can watch jaxson while i am in school. i will recieve bah for going to school full time so that will be some extra money coming in, it will be tight for awhile, but we will be able to live off of dustin's income, there are plenty of military families that live off of one income it can be done, we will be able to do it. but i am greatful that i will be able to stay home with jaxson, that will save so much on daycare(very expensive) so all and all i think this will be a good thing and what i always wanted to be able to do, stay at home with my kid eventually kids, just like my mom did. so i am happy and excited for this new opportunity. :)

all moved

so we have relocated to san diego..finally after 5 months of being apart from dustin..no more driving down on the weekends.. i am very happy to be in san diego...so much closer to both sides of the family, his mom is about 15 min drive from our apartment and my parents are about 6 hrs away which is nice and alot better than what it was ( 4 and 10 hrs). our apartment is nice a little 2 bedroom 2 bath, right off the 805. i am currently on leave until monday and than i check in and find out whether i am staying or will be flying out to meet my ship, which i believe is still in japan right now...sigh..but i only have 15 more months left in the navy, and than after that i will be attending school to become a dental assistant. so i am looking forward to the new adventure i will be embarking on in the near future.
